The Matriarchal Katydid, or Predatory Bush Cricket (Saga pedo). In Kyrgyzstan, it has been recorded in the Uzun-Akhmat Gorge and few loci in the northern part of the country. These large wingless orthopterans inhabit virgin steppe biotopes with shrubs.

The Galatea Tiger Beetle (Cephalota galatea) is an endemic of the low (400–1,100 m above sea level) mountains flanking the Fergana Valley, it is known from only a few loci. These spectacular beetles live in wild arid biotopes with clayey soils.

The Kuznetzov’s Longicorn Wasp (Masaris longicornis) is a relict species with noticeable sexual dimorphism. In Kyrgyzstan, these rare wasps were recorded in several mountain ranges at altitudes of 1,800–3,100 m above sea level, on dry plots of open ground or sun-exposed cliffs.

The Southern Swallowtail (Papilio alexanor) is a rare picturesque butterfly. In Kyrgyzstan, it was found (subspecies Voldemar) in several loci in the northwestern part of the country and on the southern slope of the Moldo-Too Mountain Range, at altitudes of 800–2,200 m above sea level.

The Kirghizobia Longicorn Beetle (Kirgizobia bohnei) is endemic to Kyrgyzstan, which is reflected in its name. This medium-sized (17–20 mm) representative of the Cerambycidae family, is known from only a few places in the mid-mountain zone in the Fergana Mountain Range and the Alai Mountain System.
