On September 7, 2018 the State Committee of Information Technology and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic puts into circulation a series of three Kyrgyz Express Post postage stamps: “Butterflies of Kyrgyzstan”.
(Colias christophi). This butterfly is named after the famous entomologist Hugo Christoph, who made a great contribution to the study of insects of Central Asia. This species is listed in the Red Book of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Parnassius jacquemontii is presented on the border of the minisheet. The photo was made near Daroot-Korgon village.
