On July 09, 2018 the State Committee of Information Technology and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic puts into circulation a series of two Kyrgyz Express Post postage stamps: “2018 Asian Games”.
As the largest multi-sport competition, after the Olympic Games, the Asian Games are one of the most prestigious events in the world of sports. These games are organized by the Olympic Council of Asia, once every four years. The XVIII Asian Games are held in Indonesia from August 18 to September 2, 2018. For the first time, competitions in these games are being co-hosted by two cities: Jakarta, the Indonesian capital, and Palembang, the capital of the province of South Sumatra. Approximately 10,000 athletes from 45 Asian countries, including from Kyrgyzstan, will compete for the highest awards in 40 different sports.

No. 100. 100 KGS. Water sports: canoeing, swimming, yacht racing.No. 101. 150 KGS. Cycling, golf, taekwondo, volleyball.

Printing method: full-color offset lithography.
Stamps perforation: comb 14:14½.
Stamps size: 69.00 х 27.50 mm.
Sheets size: 90.00 х 135.00 mm.
Collective sheet size: 90.00 x 108.00 mm.
Stamps are issued in sheetlets of 4 stamps. Stamps are also issued in collective minisheet of 2 stamps (1 complete set) with a label in the center. On the sheet borders there are names of the series in Kyrgyz and English languages. On the central label of the collective minisheet the following sports are presented: baseball, basketball, rugby and badminton.
Quantity issued: 7 000 pieces each stamp, including the quantity of the collective minisheets — 2 000 pieces.

A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the Bishkek KEP Office (729001) on the stamps issuing day. Cover size: С6 (162 х 114 mm). Printing method: full-color offset. Quantity issued: 400 copies.
