On April 30, 2024 the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic puts into circulation a series of 2023 Kyrgyz Express Post postage stamps: "30th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Brazil, Indonesia and Czechia".

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Indonesia and the Czech Republic. The new issue of KEP postage stamps is dedicated to this anniversary. The stamps feature the national plants of the respective countries. The coupons of the minisheets and the FDC depict Fritillaria eduardii, an emblematic plant of Kyrgyzstan which also has the Kyrgyz name Aigul (moon flower).

30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Brazil. Diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Brazil were established on August 6, 1993. The stamp features the Golden Trumpet Tree (Handroanthus chrysotrichus), a semi-evergreen tree whose flower is the national flower of Brazil.

30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Indonesia. On April 5, 2023, Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The postage stamp depicts one of the largest and rarest flowers in the world - the Arnold's Rafflesia (Rafflesia arnoldii). This flower is one of the national symbols of Indonesia.

30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Czechia. In 2023, Kyrgyzstan and Czechia also marked the 30th anniversary of their diplomatic relations. The KEP stamp features flowers of the Small-leaved Linden (Tilia cordata), which is the national tree of Czechia.

KEP expresses confidence that this issue of postage stamps will contribute to the development of friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and such significant countries in international politics as Brazil, Indonesia and Czechia.

For this series, KEP also issues three postcards, which are used to realize three maximum cards.

Stamps are issued in minisheets of 4 stamps with one label. The coupons of the minisheets depict Fritillaria eduardii.

Quantity issued: 6 000 pieces each stamp.

Diplomatic Relations FDC




A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the Bishkek KEP Office (729001) on the stamps issuing day. The first day cover depicts Fritillaria eduardii.
