Ishembay Abdraimov (1914 - 2001) was the first Kyrgyz aviator, the initiator and organizer of civil aviation in Kyrgyzstan. In 1994, Ishembay Abdraimov was awarded the gold medal of the International Civil Aviation Organization ICAO.
